Spend at least a week so you have time to enjoy all the activities this area offers, which include skiing, hiking, scenic train rides, and thermal spas.

When is the best time to visit?

December to March for the best snowy views.

How do I get around?

Public transportation is great in this area, but you can also rent a car to get around more quickly. Milan is the closest airport, and from there you can take a train to Tirano, which is a great starting point for this trip.

What are the best places to visit?

Tirano, Bormio, Aprica, Lovero, & Stelvio National Park
